TnF: APA Pre-Alpha Work #6

Finally I have a decent amount to show for the Inventory.


It's a miracle, the little guy finally has pants!

Break down is as follows:
Walk/Run over items to pick them up.
I'm using the mouse to reposition the window and drag around the items (the mouse didn't show up on the screen recording software).
You can drop items into the "Drop Item" part of the inventory to drop the item to the ground.
Dragging the item onto the player equips the item (if it is equippable).

Still need to do some things for example, items that can stack, and item weights.

TnF: APA Pre-Alpha Work #5

Been working on an inventory system, which I don't have much to show about just yet.
So I did a quick video of the transition between the map and the interior of houses.  The loading screen is also a new addition, I like it better than the screen freezing.
Interiors of houses are activated by running into the door.  So you can jump on the roof, run into the sides of the house and even the window, you'll only go into the house if the player touches the house door.


Time to go back to working on the inventory system.

I've been working on a couple of things and this is one of them.

I've begun generating villages for the NPC's.  Villages will be spread around the world.
The houses will be able to be walked inside and the inside will be generated as well.

TnF: APA Pre-Alpha Work #3

Been working on some ways to draw the world as the player runs around.

Trying to get something that will still draw a fairly decent distance from the player, but of course I don't want it to slow down the game.

On a side note, I didn't really explain what I was doing while punching those dogs in an earlier video.  Basically I was running around using the WASD keys, and I was using the numpad arrow keys to punch in a direction.

TnF: APA Pre-Alpha Work

Look!  I shortened the name to letters!  That's cool, right?

Right now I'm working on some level-up screen stuff, everybody likes a good level up(? Maybe).  Mostly doing aesthetics right now, I'll be posting a youtube video of it sometime soon.

In the mean time, just posted 2 new screenshots on the screenshots page.
